  • How Many layers does the FusionCore have?
    The FusionCore can have an endless number of layers. However, with it’s ability to pick any media and crossfade within a single layer it requires far fewer layers than a traditional media server.
  • How many inputs does the FusionCore have?
    As standard the FusionCore comes with 3 HD inputs and a 4K. This is reconfigurable, so can be increased if required.
  • How many outputs does the FusionCore have?
    Up to 8 independently configurable HD outputs.
  • What types of media can the FusionCore play?
    Anything that quicktime can play.
  • What resolution media can the FusionCore play?
    The FusionCore can play media up to 15360 x 1200 pixels.
  • Will I still need a switcher?
    If you are planning on having a main and backup going into a single input a switcher will be required.
  • Do I still need a vision mixer if I’m using the FusionCore?
    If you are using more than one camera a vision mixer will be required. See a typical set up.
  • Will backgrounds come from a separate computer?
    No. The FusionCore is different to most media servers in that backgrounds are held within the system.
  • Can I control backgrounds independently with the FusionCore?
    Yes. The FusionCore can use a separate background controller to run pixel for pixel backgrounds natively up to the maximum resolution.
  • How many operators does it take to run the FusionCore?
    This depends on the complexity of the show, but most shows have 1 or 2 operators.
  • Is the FusionCore controlled from a timeline?
    No! The FusionCore is controlled with FusionCue.
  • Can I jump from one cue to any other cue with FusionCue?
    Yes! FusionCue is non-linear which means it can jump from one cue to any other.
  • How long does it take to set up cues with FusionCue?
    Setting up cues with FusionCue is incredibly fast! Almost as fast as they can be asked for!
  • Can I control multiple FusionCores simultaneously?
    Yes! A single FusionCue can control multiple FusionCores.
  • Can you create the content?
    Yes!
  • Can I have projection mapping on my event?
    Yes! With FusionHD projection mapping no longer needs to be prohibitavely expensive.
  • Can I purchase the FusionCue or FusionCore?
    Not at the moment ..but never say never.
